"I want you to know how impressed I am with your product, ILEX Cream. I have watched it working over the past several months in a patient I am following - who also happens to be my mother, When she moved to a nursing home facility after her discharge from a local hospital, she had a number of fairly serious pressure sores. Her medical condition keeps her supine nearly all of the time, and it did not seem likely that the sores would improve. Nevertheless, with regular use of your product (along with good nursing care) they are essentially healed.
The only difficulty we had with ILEX was when it was not available for a short period when the company changed its distribution system. During that period, nobody here in town could suggest any suitable alternative to your product. In a matter of a few weeks, the areas which had been healing rapidly began to regress. Only when we again started using ILEX did they again begin to heal. In fact we have found it to be an excellent "preventive" treatment because it not only heals areas that are already breaking down, it also protects areas at risk even before they begin to deteriorate.

"Thank you so much for sending me the iLEX samples for my patient, CC. CC is a 7 month old baby who was born at 30 weeks gestation, developed NEC and consequently had three bowel resections. His short bowel has left him with acidic stools and what was the worst perineal excoriation I have seen in over ten years as a NICU nurse. Two ET consults failed to produce a treatment that worked for him. This little baby has grown close to my heart over the many months I have cared for him, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and research a treatment for the open and painful wounds in his diaper area. A literature search provided two articles that mentioned iLEX as a treatment for similar cases. Thus my phone call to you and your gracious offer of sample product.
Treatment began on the afternoon of July 18 at which time CC's buttocks was bleeding with open wounds.
